This project will construct and equip a new 300-bed general hospital in the capital Dakar. The modern four-story Dalal Jamm Hospital will offer a full range of specialist medical services including advanced care in the fields of oncology, dialysis and radiotherapy. Additionally, high-tech medical imagery equipment for the detection, diagnosis and treatment of various diseases will be purchased. As a major referral hospital, it will also receive patients who cannot be treated elsewhere in the country, as well as patients from abroad. In the medium-term, the hospital is expected to be capable of catering for upwards of 27,000 patients a year.
