Byblos Bank Armenia aims at helping meet the needs of private enterprises and increase the level and efficiency of financial intermediation in Armenia. It is envisaged that the bank will be a best practices model that will offer modern commercial banking products, disseminate modern banking techniques, upgrade standards, promote competition and increase the efficiency of the domestic banking system. A major part of the business of the bank will involve providing services to artisanal businesses and to small and medium-scale enterprises. These constitute an important part of economic activity.
