The Hajar Center is a non profit organization established in 2004 in the Ayda Camp Bel on the northwestern side of Bethlehem. This camp has a total population of 6,000 refugees from different Palestinian villages. The camp is overcrowded and there is no room for enlargement. Approximately 150 children are visiting daily the free of cost kindergarten being taught by five teachers. The grant was extended in support of building construction, procurement of furniture and education material.
