The National Development Council is a non-government organization established in 2005 in Hebron. Its mission is to support Palestinian civil society in addressing poverty and unemployment through human resources development, capacity building, information technology, job creation, and income generating projects. The grant has been extended to support its "Agriculture Machine Maintenance Project". The project objective empowered farmers by enhancing their agriculture productivity through capacity development in maintaining agriculture machineries and technologies. The project involved the training of 200 farmers in automation mechanism, agriculture project management, and accounting.
