Assistance to Civil Society Organizations in Palestine Phase V: Juzzor for Health and Social Development

Juzoor is a non-governmental organization established in 1996. Its main mission is to improve the health and well-being of Palestinian families and promote health as a basic human right. Juzoor's works is to promote a coherent, interdisciplinary cross-sectoral approach to improving the health of individuals, families and communities based on national indicators. The grant was extended to support a program aimed at improving the quality of healthcare in Palestine. This will be achieved through capacity building in basic surgical competencies and a long term mission of implementing a standard basic training package for surgeons in cooperation with the Palestinian Surgeons Society and Royal Surgical College of Scotland.
