The Agricultural Association for Rural Development (AARD) is a non-governmental organization established in Gaza in 2002. AARD's core mission is to improve living standards, food security and reduce poverty among poor and vulnerable fishermen in Al-Manassra Area in the Gaza Strip. This will be done by providing fishing gear, repairing and maintaining of 100 fishing boats and creating employment opportunities for approximate 400 fishermen.
