The Bethlehem Academy of Music was established in 1996, and is operating in Beit Jala, West Bank. The objectives of the Academy are to teach classical and Arabic music and develop the love for music within the young generation in addition to the regular education system. The grant has been extended to support the Academy's program to teach and promote classical and oriental music in Bethlehem. The objective of the program is to promote the interests of music among children and youth, and enhancing the development of the local Arabic heritage of music, songs, and folklore dance.
