The Laborer Supporting Association was established in 2005 in the Middle Region of the Gaza Strip. It aims to contribute socio-economic development by providing education and primary health care for workers and their families. It creates job opportunities and income-generating activities for unemployees. It also provides assistance in support of farm workers and the development of their resources. The grant was extended to support the Provision of Medical Eyeglasses for Workers Families in the Middle Region of Gaza, areas with high density population with low working opportunities. The project addressed worker families including children, medical examinations in the areas of myopia, hypermetropia, astigmatism and eye communicable diseases.
