The Women's Child Care Society was established in 1944 in Biet Jala, Bethlehem, Palestine. Its core mission is to improve the economic, educational, and health status of women and children through provision of health services, quality and affordable food, job creation, and income generation activities.OFID extended a grant to establish a new child care centre. The project served children from poor families and working mothers andl concentrated on the daily needs of children relating to their physical, cognitive, and social skills. The project cost for the child care center was US$114,214.
