The Palestinian Counseling Center (PCC) is a community mental health organization and was established in 1983 in East Jerusalem, West Bank. The organization is specialized in improving the mental well-being and thereby the productivity of the Palestinian people living in the West Bank. The grant has been extended to assist the following activities: clinical and therapeutic intervention through provision of therapy, educational therapy, rehabilitation and psychiatric services; awareness campaigns for parents and local community on mental health issues and training programs for university students with a total budget of US$650,000.
