The Palestinian Child Friends Association was established in 2006 in Gaza and operates in the Al-Shaboora village, which is one of the most marginalized villages in the Gaza Strip with a population of more than 25,000. PFCA is the only organization that provides health and medical services in this village. OFID is supporting a new project involving the establishment and equipping of a new clinic for ear, nose, and throat. The project helped improving the overall status of the Al-Shaboora village population and treated more than 5,000 people annually. The project cost was calculated at US$170,000.
