The Jerusalem Princess Basma Center for Disabled Children (JCDC) was established in 1965 as a home for physically disabled children, mainly those suffering from Polio - Paralysis, and in 1975 became a charitable organization to assist the needs and expectations of the disabled community. Today JCDC is one of three referral/resource rehabilitation centers that ensure continuous support for children with special needs, their families and their communities. The Centre has a team of 79 specialized doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, and administrative staff. The grant has been extended to cover the financing gap created by free rehabilitation services.
