ISJ is a non-governmental organization founded in 1979 serving orphans, handicapped, students, poor families and marginalized groups. Since its establishment, the Society has been implementing humanitarian programs to alleviate the suffering of Palestinian people. This grant helped the fishermen in the marginalized and impoverished communities in the North of the Gaza Strip. The main objective of the project was to improve the economic welfare of poor fishermen by providing them with the necessary fishing tools including nets and boats.
