Assistance to Civil Society Organizations in Gaza, Phase III: The Exporters Farmers Association for Development

EFAD is a non-governmental and non-profit organization established in 2004 focusing on the agricultural sector in order to develop the Palestinian countryside and rural area. EFAD aims at improving the standard of living of vulnerable farmers, especially in the Bani Suhaila village. This grant will support the project "Farmers' Development and Improvement of Food Security for Poor Families in Bani Suhaila Village". The main objective of the project is to improve the standard of living of 400 poor families. 50 small-scale farmers and their families will be supported through the purchase of their agricultural products. For extremly poor households, work will be provided.
