ASOMCH is a non-profit, non-governmental organization established in 2001 and works to empower civil society. One recent major achievement of ASOMCH is the establishment of a Mental Health Center. This grant helped to finance the project "Psychological Support and Developing of the Mental Health Centre in the Southern Area of Gaza" which aimed at improving the psychological well-being of affected people by strengthening the Center with modern psychological support techniques. The main objectives were the enhancement of technical skills of 60 psychologists, the improvement of the psychological situation of some 50,000 people in the most marginalized areas of the Southern Gaza Strip and the long-term psychological support for affected patients.
