Al Ekhaa Association for Relief and Development was founded in Jabalia City in 2006 as a non-governmental organization, carrying out development, relief, and social activities. OFID financed the project "Supplying Primary Schools with Healthy, Filtered, Fit Drinking Water". Potable water for approximately 18,700 students at 25 schools in Gaza governorates have been provided.
