To improve incomes and livelihoods of poor households involved in artisanal fishing. Works will include:
- improvement of market infrastructure; such as wholesale/retail municipal fish marketing facilities;
- rehabilitation of access roads;
- electrification works in areas not connected to the national grid;
- provision of alternative power supplies to remote fishing centers;
- development of value chains;
- establishment of financial services;
- institutional strengthening; and
- provision of training and other support activities.
