The grant has been extended to the Regional Center for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (RCREEE) in support of the Arab Program for Sustainable Energy Youth (APSEY), a regional sustainable energy internship program which targets young professionals and post-graduate students of engineering, economy and law fields from the Arab Region. The project is successfully completed. The grant supported raising the capacity of young Arab talents in engineering, energy and policy, which helps in job creation in MENA region sustainable energy market. The OFID covers interns from Djibouti, Mauritania, Palestine, Sudan, Syria and Yemen. Mr. Suleiman Al-Herbish, Director General of OFID presented the APSEY certificate to the graduates in the closing ceremony, which took place in the Fairmont Heliopolis hotel where in the presence of the Egyptian Minister of Electricity, German Ambassador in Cairo and other governmental official and regional Experts.
