This loan will help finance a rural development project in the Yarmouk River Basin that aims at increasing food security, raising incomes and improving living standards among 2,850 poor farming households. The project will introduce better farming practices, construct 160 km of rural roads, provide farmers with seasonal loans and establish rural financial services for women.
