The project will utilize water from the Virilla and Circuels Rivers. The works consist mainly of construction of a concrete gravity diversion dam across the river, conducting tunnels, spillways, surge tank, penstock, powerhouse and related transmission lines. Two 45MW electric alternators will be installed in the powerhouse for a total installed capacity of 96MW.
