The project total cost was US$470,000, and it aimed at upgrading the operational capabilities of the existing civil aviation system in theMaldives. It involved the training of 30 technical staff in specialized fields. Four candidates were selected for our grant, who completed their training in July 1995 and the grant amount was fully disbursed.
