This project will upgrade a 26.7 km road that serves the districts of Kosovska, Mitrovica and Pristina, populated by around 400,000 inhabitants. The improved road will facilitate the local population’s access to health, education and other social amenities, as well as production centers and job opportunities. The project will also contribute to poverty reduction as the lowering of transport costs will have a positive impact on the country's agriculture and mining sectors and help promote trade opportunities.
