The grant supported the Birzeit University in developing its scientific curricula by equipping and upgrading the scientific laboratories in order to provide quality training, education and scientific research. The University was provided with a liquid nitrogen production unit, advanced technical workshop and computer facilities for research and training, at a total cost of US$500,000.
