This grant was to support the preparation of the Reconstruction of the A-27 "Atyrau-Dossor” Highway Project in the Republic of Kazakhstan, to be financed by the OPEC Fund through a US$250 million public sector loan (targeted GB approval date: June 2025). The TA Grant will be used to hire a consultant to assess and analyze the technical, economic, and financial viability of the project and ascertain the project’s rationale, scope, cost, schedule, implementation arrangements, risks and mitigation measures. The selection of the consultant will be undertaken by the OPEC Fund as per Detailed Terms of Reference also prepared by the Fund, and TA activities will be implemented over a 7-week period starting as soon as the TA grant is approved.
