Training of Young Palestinian Diplomats at the UN General Assembly in New York

The grant has been extended to the UN Division for Palestinian Rights of the United Nations Secretariat in support of a capacity building training scheme of four young Palestinian diplomats at the United Nations General Assembly in New York. The programme ended up benefitting three participants only since the fourth participant could not get a US visa. Indirectly, the program contributed to enhancing the institutional capacities of the State of Palestine with regard to interactions with the United Nations institutions, and managing Palestinian affairs in the international arena, in addition to improved knowledge of the UN system and other relevant mechanisms.
