To construct a 27-km long road that will improve access to social services and marketplaces, and help promote the country’s trade opportunities. Works will include:

  • construction of a dual carriageway;
  • building of a two-way tunnel and several bridges and viaducts; and
  • consultancy services.
Around 750,000 people residing in the capital Tirana and the city of Elbasan will benefit from a safer, swifter means of travel.
