To rehabilitate/construct classrooms at primary and secondary schools in Zanzibar, targeting areas with high poverty levels. This will, in turn, help boost school attendance and enhance learning conditions for nearly 200,000 pupils. Works will include:
- construction of 10 primary schools, with 12 classrooms each, including facilities such as libraries, computer and science rooms, etc
- construction of 120 new classrooms and rehabilitation of 100 classrooms at existing schools
- purchase and installation of equipment and furniture
