Taroudant Higher Education Project

This loan will co-finance the establishment of a higher education facility in the southern city of Taroudant. The multidisciplinary Faculty of Taroudant will be attached to the University of Agadir. Its establishment will enhance study prospects in an underserved area and help address regional disparities in tertiary education. The project will finance the construction and equipping of the Faculty’s academic, scientific, administrative and supportive facilities totalling 18,200 m². The new Faculty will initially have the capacity to accommodate 3,500 students per year, with the capability of expansion to 5,000 students annually.
