With the objective to assist some 85,000 families in the Tafilalet sector and Dades Valley, two of the most disadvantaged areas in the country, the project aims at improving agricultural production. Works will comprise the following:
- construction of dams, canals and pumping stations;
- provision of water tanks for livestock;
- digging of water points and wells; and
- capacity building and institutional strengthening.
