The technical assistance grant of US$369,423.83 finances project preparation activities already carried out for Surf City Program Phase II in El Salvador. These include the completed design study for a two-lane bridge over the Huiza River on the CA2AE route and the completed feasibility studies for the San Diego and El Majahual wastewater treatment plants, representing their proportional share of the overall assessment. The TA supports the project’s technical and engineering readiness and aligns with OPEC Fund cost-sharing guidelines for project preparation.
