The project covered the establishment of an on-site training facility offering over the years 2002-2004, three training courses annually for scientists and technicians of the National Agriculture Research Systems (NARS) on various aspects of biosaline agriculture. Furthermore, the project involved the development of the Electronic Global Biosaline Network in order to enhance technology exchange on biosalinity research.
