This loan will help finance a housing project being undertaken by IFA-BACO, a real estate development company established in 1995. The loan forms part of a €4.7 million financing package for the development of 287 housing plots and the construction of 163 housing units in the Sebeninkoro district of Bamako. The project, which is being cofinanced with Shelter Afrique, will meet important economic and developmental objectives by creating jobs in the construction industry, addressing the shortage of housing for different income groups and developing an environmentally friendly residential area.
