This loan helped strengthen the delivery of rural health and education services in the southern provinces of Osh and Jalal-Abad. This included the reconstructing and renovating 187 schools and 495 health care units (midwife stations, clinics and hospitals), offering training courses to service providers and introducing management information systems in each province.
