The grant was used for the provision of equipment and facilities necessary for the proper implementation of the program and the efficient delivery of food supplies to target beneficiaries. The advance payment of US$50,000 was effected in November 1999. The program started in March 2003 and activities are within the framework of the WFP’s country social program in Yemen.
