The project comprises: i) the rehabilitation of 4 generating stations serving the Shaba region, including a) replacement of windings in the generators; b) repairs to the cooling, air oil, water supply and electrical systems; c) studies and reha- bilitation program for the Nzilo arch dam; and d) equipment; ii) replacement of transmission controls in the sub- stations; iii) consultancy, supervision and training services; and iv) provision of an adviser to the National Energy Commisssion.
