Aims of this project are to upgrade a road that provides access to the international airport at Banjul, the Trans-Gambia Highway and neighboring Senegal. The 28.6-km stretch will be upgraded to all-weather standard, facilitating the movement of goods, people and improving access to social services, benefiting some 900,000 inhabitants.
