The project objectives are directed towards improvement of the quality of primary education in the rural areas. This would be achieved through the reconstruction of existing schools which are no longer in a serviceable state. It is expected that the new school buildings as well as didactic materials provided under the project will contribute to a rise in the quality of education and will reduce the level of absenteeism, in addition to the dropout and repetition rates.
