This project will involve the construction and furnishing of 123 new classrooms, as well as the rehabilitation and re-furnishing of existing ones at 59 schools in eight provinces. In addition, 143 teachers’ houses will be constructed and 23 others re-furbished. Some 300 sanitary facilities will be installed and boreholes with pumps drilled. In-service training, textbooks and teaching materials will also be included.
