This project will be implemented in Sikasso and Ségou, two of Mali’s most underserved regions, with the goal to improve literacy levels and enrolment rates.
- rehabilitation of 48 classrooms at existing schools;
- construction of 177 new schools at easily accessible locations;
- procurement of equipment, furniture and educational materials; and
- provision of training for directors and pedagogic advisors.
