To enhance Kenya’s socio-economic development through the electrification of 591 load centres (i.e. local centers for marketing and processing agricultural produce; tea and coffee factories; health facilities and schools). The project will also build distribution and transmission systems and provide electricity connections to over 35,000 households. At least 177,000 people are expected to benefit from the project.
