This project aims at providing electrical power to rural communities in the Eastern, Central, Western and Kathmandu Valley regions and will entail:
- instllation of approximately 2,300 km of new power lines;
- upgrading of existing electricity systems;
- connection of around 240 new Village Development Councils to the electrical grid.
