This project will carry out works in seven rural districts of Gaza and Tete provinces, areas with high agricultural production, and include the following:

  • repair and upgrading of the 137 km-long Chókwè-Macarretane-Lagone Nova road and 162 km-long Massacama-Columue roads;
  • repair or replacement of bridges.
Once the roads have been improved, farmers will be better motivated to increase food and cash crop production, and in turn help raise incomes and food security.
