The project's total estimated cost was US$1.25 million. The project aimed at helping the Government of Lebanon to rehabilitate and operate the existing health facilities that were critically and partially damaged in Southern Lebanon and West Bekaa Valley. The grant was directed to the rehabilitation of five public hospitals in the area.
