ESNCM was established in Jerusalem in 1993 as an academic institution for teaching music to the Palestinian generations. It is an affiliate of Birzeit University. ESNCM was formerly known as the National Conservatory of Music. The overall objective of ESNCM is to contribute to the establishment of a promising young Palestinian generation who will preserve the Arab Palestinian music identity. The grant assisted in the continuity of ESNCM’s activities.
