In cooperation with UNDP, UNRWA and the Welfare Association, the Arab Gulf Program for United Nations Development Organization (AGFUND) has prepared a program that aimed at poverty alleviation, education and empowerment of women. The project provided capacity building (training and services) to communities currently underserved in the areas of legal and social counseling for women, and promoted community support through networking and the media.
