The Project aimed to enhance access to modern, clean and affordable energy for rural populations in Burkina Faso, the Philippines and Togo with a view to improving their living conditions and preserving the natural environment, while bolstering the local economy. Its specific objectives are to expand the range of energy access solutions available in these countries and improve performance levels and quality of services, with a focus on LPG cooking solutions and PAYGO solar-home-systems. Project Outcomes: The project made met its objectives. The outputs in the three countries under all components and activities are too detailed to list here. In total, 52 744 products were sold – 35 366 cooking solutions and 17 348 lighting solutions; enhancing access to clean and affordable energy to 42 333 direct beneficiaries and 211 696 indirect beneficiaries.
