The overall objective of the project was to prevent HIV/AIDS infection among young people through introducing HIV/AIDS prevention education in the national education system with a multi effect in and out of schools. Implementation started in January 2005 and until December 2007. The project has been implemented in 12 Asian countries by UNESCO with full cooperation of the Ministry of Education of the respective country.
