This Facility Agreement aims at fostering economic development in the Eligible Countries, through the development of a pipeline of bankable Projects that the Parties will jointly finance for the benefit of the Beneficiaries in these countries. Overall, the implementation of this Facility Agreement would support the preparation of downstream investment Projects with a view to ensuring their implementation readiness, including compliance with OPEC Fund and FONPLATA operational requirements.
