Perseverance Island Social Services Project

A surge in population growth has led to a demand for low-cost housing on the island. To help meet this need, the government has initiated a social housing development program. The project will complement the program through the construction of additional infrastructure to encourage people to move into the government’s housing scheme. Works will include construction of two primary schools and a secondary school, each of which will be appropriately equipped and furnished. Also planned is the construction of a health center that will provide general medical and dental treatment, as well as reproductive health services such as family planning and pre- and post-natal care.
