This project aims at improving basic sanitary conditions in the Panama City and Bay Region, encompassing an area of around 21,000 ha. Works to be carried out include:

  • construction and rehabilitation of collector systems, including sewer interconnections and pipelines
  • rehabilitation of an existing pumping station
  • engineering and design services
  • installation of connections to the main receptor system
The project is expected to help improve the general health and economic conditions for the approximately 1.2 million people living in the Panama Bay and City area.
